Frontier Exchange Co. believes independent businesses, creative ideas, good stories, and strong communities deserve places to grow. So we created one.
Frontier is part marketplace, part resource hub, and part gathering place—built around the idea that discovering something interesting, building something meaningful, and meeting someone worth knowing are more connected than they might seem.
Three simple ideas. One Frontier.
Small businesses aren't built in isolation. They're built at kitchen tables and market booths. In notebooks and late-night ideas. Through conversations with customers, relationships with other businesses, and communities willing to show up.
Frontier Exchange Co. exists because we believe those pieces belong together. A product can introduce you to an idea. A resource can help someone build one. An event can put those people in the same room. That's the space Frontier is designed to occupy—the space between:
Frontier isn't about forcing every interest into a single category. It's about creating a place where interesting things, useful ideas, independent businesses, creative experiences, and the people behind them have room to connect.
Three words became a simple way to describe what Frontier is trying to create.
Discovery matters.
The things we choose can tell stories about what we love, what we're building, and the communities we belong to. Frontier Exchange Co. — Shop creates a place for interesting goods, imaginative collections, and products made for people with interests worth talking about.
Building something takes more than a good idea.
Small-business owners are constantly learning—pricing products, preparing for markets, organizing operations, serving customers, and figuring out what comes next. Frontier Exchange Co. — Learn exists to make some of that work a little easier through practical resources, tools, and guidance built for people actually doing it.
Some things are better together.
Markets, themed experiences, collaborations, and community gatherings create opportunities to discover businesses, meet people, share interests, and make memories outside the ordinary. Gather is the idea behind Frontier Exchange Co. — Events: creating reasons for people to show up and experiences worth remembering.
Frontier Exchange Co. is owned and built by Colton and Ashley Davis, a husband-and-wife team based in Lubbock, Texas. For Colton and Ashley, Frontier isn't built around a single type of product, event, or business—it's built around things they understand firsthand: entrepreneurship, creative work, small-business ownership, markets, community involvement, and the process of taking an idea and figuring out how to make it work.
Colton brings a background in financial services, business development, entrepreneurship, and community involvement to Frontier Exchange Co. His professional experience working with individuals, families, and business owners has shaped a practical approach to business: understand the numbers, build strong foundations, make intentional decisions, and turn ideas into actionable next steps.
At Frontier, that perspective is especially reflected in Learn, along with business operations, partnerships, vendor relationships, and the development of new concepts and opportunities. Colton believes strong independent businesses and meaningful community connections can reinforce one another.
Ashley brings firsthand creative and small-business experience to Frontier Exchange Co. through her work with Twisted Sifter Bakery, a Lubbock-based bakery. Building and operating Twisted Sifter gives Ashley real-world insight into what happens behind the booth and behind the brand—from product development and production to preparing for markets, customer experience, and the constant problem-solving involved in building a small business.
At Frontier, Ashley helps bring the creative and experiential side of the company to life, particularly through Frontier Exchange Co. — Events. Her perspective shapes the atmosphere, details, vendor experience, collaborations, and creative ideas that turn a gathering into something people remember.
Frontier works because Colton and Ashley don't always approach an idea from the same direction. One may begin with the business model, logistics, structure, or strategy. The other may begin with the experience, presentation, details, or feeling they want to create. Somewhere in the middle, an idea starts becoming something real.
That combination has helped shape Frontier Exchange Co. into a business where commerce, practical education, creativity, experiences, and community can exist together instead of being treated as unrelated ideas.
We're building Frontier the same way many of the businesses in our community are built: one idea, one opportunity, and one connection at a time.
Built in Lubbock, Texas.
Small businesses make communities more interesting. Frontier creates opportunities to discover them, learn from them, support them, and build alongside them.
Good information should help someone do something. Frontier Learn focuses on practical resources and guidance that can be put to work in a real business—not abstract theory.
Interesting ideas deserve room to exist—even when they don't fit neatly into a conventional category. Frontier makes room for books, businesses, markets, products, experiences, creative concepts, and the unexpected connections between them.
Markets and events matter because of the people who show up. Frontier aims to create opportunities for customers, businesses, creators, and communities to find one another.
People remember how something made them feel. Whether it's finding the right product, solving a business problem, discovering a maker, or attending a memorable event, the experience matters.
Maybe you're here to find something that feels like you. Maybe you're building a business of your own. Maybe you're looking for your next market, your next collaboration, your next idea, or simply somewhere interesting to gather.
Frontier Exchange Co. was built to make room for all of it.
Discover goods, collections, and products made for people with something to say.
Find the practical tools, resources, and guidance that help real businesses move forward.
Show up, participate, connect—community is built in the moments between transactions.
